This piece is based on the concept that sometimes to grow as a person we can be torn apart and put back together. Whether that is in something like army training, or a religious or spiritual path. Sometimes the stitches holding us together are strained.
 
This piece is hand and machine embroidered with dyes and paint. Tiny metal cogs are added again referring to the workings of the human mind.
