This piece of embroidery is based on the lich gate from St Paul's church in Sketty, Swansea, UK.
It is a church I walk past regularly and as I pass I think about all the things that this lich gate has seen.
The work has been hand and machine embroidered, hand dyed, inked painted and hand stitched.
It measures 32 x 45" (81 x 114 cm) and is ready to hang (just place the wooden support over a nail.)
