Shirley is made using double knitting acrylic yarn with a 3.5mm hook. She is about 10cm long. To make the eyes in the same way I did, you need 2 x 6mm safety eyes and 4 backs for them, but you could use googly eyes. She is made using loop stitch which I will explain in the pattern, but there are some great videos online which may be easier for you. This pattern is a great way to learn this stitch
