Sent to Destroy is an original piece of hand embroidery.
 
It measures 12 x 16" and is framed in a black frame.
 
The embroidery is based on a favourite song of mine which is about the way our world has become about disposable resources at the expense of the people. In the embroidery an abstracted factory has become abandoned after it is no longer required.
 
The hand embroidery is created in a very traditional, time-consuming way, but it has been updated by adding more hand embroidery over the top as well as inks and other textile techniques.
