This original embroidery is made using layering, hand and machine embroidery, beading, couching, dyeing and many other techniques.
 
The machine embroidery is produced using an antique Singer hand cranked sewing machine and the slow rhythmic stitching reflects the passing of time since the building in the piece was in its prime. 
 
It is wall hung on a copper rod. It measures 12 x 19″ and it is ready to hang.
